The 15 month assignment was headquartered at sana’a Capital of Yemen Arab Republic

The Programme included      

  • Preparation of detailed technical specifications of Meter Testing Benches for laboratories
  • Preparation of Tender Documents which contained technical specifications and Bill of Quantities (BoQ)
  • Invitation of International bids
  • Evaluation of bids and making recommendations for placing order.
  • Specifications and drawings for testing laboratories
  • Prepared and Implemented training programmes for Distribution staff for testing and calibration of single and poly phase energy meters in the testing laboratories
  • Suggested new measures to check pilferage of energy for their distribution system
