Karachi Transport Corporation Route Study Survey Report

A Route Study was carried out for BCEOM on a grant from the Govt of France, recording routewise  passenger movement at different times, assessing fleet operational efficieny so as to help in realigning routs, routewise  bus allocation and minimizing revenue leakages.

The survey also included private vehicles plying the  same routes as KTC 9 corridors with varying number of channels were investigated.

A total of 56 surveyors were employed.
 
Both convert and open surveys were used.
